His research focuses on the design of safe, adaptive, and resilient autonomous aerospace systems. His interests include safety-critical online adaptation, data-driven digital twins, resilient networked autonomy, distributed multi-agent systems, and cooperative multi-robot and swarm systems. His work integrates control and learning methods with open-source flight controller software, aircraft modelling, dynamics simulation, and flight testing.

He received his B.A.Sc. (2016), M.A.Sc. (2018), and Ph.D. (2024) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Ottawa. His doctoral research developed adaptive weight-shift flight control for flexible-wing aircraft. The research included robotic piloting systems, embedded adaptive reinforcement learning, flight-test-informed modelling, aircraft dynamics simulation, and simulation-to-flight validation. He received an NSERC Postgraduate Scholarship–Doctoral. He held a Mitacs Accelerate Industry Fellowship with Romaeris Corporation through an industry research partnership spanning crewed and uncrewed aircraft development, avionics integration, digital twins, and flight testing. Through an NRC IRAP-supported collaboration, he helped establish the Eurogia Eureka UAV-GHG multinational consortium with European industry partners for UAS-enabled greenhouse-gas monitoring.

He conducted postdoctoral research at the University of Ottawa and Carleton University. At the University of Ottawa, he studied data-driven detection of critical transitions in multi-agent systems. At Carleton, his work addressed collaborative drone operations and autonomous aircraft design, analysis, and testing. He also served as Program Coordinator for Carleton’s NSERC CREATE UTILI program, the Uninhabited Aircraft Systems Training, Innovation, and Leadership Initiative. He is a member of the ArduPilot developer team and a support engineer in the ArduPilot Partner Program, supporting users and commercial partners worldwide. He mentors ArduPilot contributors through Google Summer of Code and chairs the 2026 ArduPilot Developer Conference in Ottawa.

[13

post-8570","cu_people","type-cu_people","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","cu_people_type-faculty
["GET
