class=\"wp-block-heading\">Registering in a Graduate Course<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Undergraduate students who are considering registration in a graduate course, must complete the following steps below: instructor to verify that you possess the required prerequisite knowledge and to secure their approval to be in the course.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Contact&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:maeadvising@carleton.ca\">maeadvising@carleton.ca<\/a>&nbsp;to get an email approval from the Undergraduate Academic Advisor.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Submit an override request via&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.central.carleton.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Carleton Central<\/a>&nbsp;(not Engineering Request Form\/Scheduler Tool as that is only used for undergrad courses)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Send an email to the MAE Graduate Administrator with supporting documentation\/emails from both the Undergraduate Advisor and the instructor.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>MAE staff will approve the override request after&nbsp;<strong>August 6<\/strong>&nbsp;if there is room in the course.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Contact&nbsp;<a
