The MAE Seminar Series aims, not only to broaden the exposure of our students and faculty to new ideas and technical matters outside of their specific research focus, but also to foster a culture of open discussion among members of the Department. Our objective is to host speakers from both inside and outside of the Department, with a portion of the talks delivered by our graduate students. Speakers will be encouraged to make their presentations interesting and accessible to a relatively broad audience.

Seminar Signup Instructions<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Log in to Brightspace. Under My Courses, select Workshops, then click on the MAE Graduate Seminars module. Click on Content in the top menu bar and select the Seminar Sign-up from the Table of Contents on the left. This will provide a link to sign up for a specific seminar date. On the linked page, simply select the \u2018Group\u2019 to assign yourself to a seminar date. Return to the Seminar Sign-up module and follow the link to submit a one-page abstract and biography description.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Attendance at M&AE seminars is a program requirement for all M&AE thesis-based graduate students. Attendance will be recorded at all seminars. Ph.D. students must satisfy this requirement within 6 terms of initial registration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
