The award was given based on <b>rent affordability,<\/b> <b>employment rates, and more. <\/b>Ottawa has won that afford many times. During the evaluation, Ottawa also earned recognition for being<b> pedestrian, transit, and newcomer-friendly.&nbsp;<\/b><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Canadian Business Magazine declared Ottawa the <b>14th best place in the world <\/b>and the <b>3rd best world in North America.<\/b> The award was based on economy, political system, education, schools, health, housing and environment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In 2013, Ottawa received the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ontariobybike.ca\/ottawa\/#:~:text=Truly%20a%20bicycle%2Dfriendly%20destination,the%20nation's%20capital%20by%20bike!\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\"> gold-level Bicycle Friendly Community Award<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>According to<a href=\"https:\/\/blog.remax.ca\/canada-liveability-report\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\"> RE\/Max Canadian Liveability Report,<\/a> Ottawa\u2019s neighbourhood Centretown is ranked as the third best for the top neighbourhoods for <b>high liveability criteria in City.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/b><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Canadian Business ranked Ottawa as one of the best places to live in Canada.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Canada was also declared the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.expertmarket.com\/ca\/top-tech-hubs-canada\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\"> best tech hub<\/a> to live and work in Canada.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"why-mars-and-carleton\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why MARS and Carleton?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The MARS group works on cutting-edge applied electromagnetic problems with focus on intellectual satisfaction, hands training and skill development, great work culture and strong team spirit.
