The <\/span>Math<\/span> Lab<\/span>\u00a0Socials team aims to share <\/span>all of<\/span> the lab’s knowledge with everyone! Started by Taeko, the team has grown to include many wonderful members who all strive to share our research and give everyone a behind-the-scenes glimpse at what it means to be part of the <\/span>Math Lab<\/span>. We work on creating educational quizzes and behind-the-scenes posts about our research, sharing hidden curriculum tips, simplifying our published research papers, and much more for Instagram, LinkedIn, and the <\/span>Math Lab<\/span> website!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Taeko is passionate about knowledge mobilization and, having previously worked as a freelance artist, enjoys creating graphics to help simplify complex information and make it more accessible for all. As the first member of her family to attend graduate school, she believes in the importance of asking questions, sharing knowledge, and removing the hidden curriculum barriers. She works to promote equity, diversity, and inclusion and hopes that the creation of the Socials Team will help make the lab\u2019s research and resources available to all. Taeko works on all <\/span>aspects of the <\/span>Socials\u2019<\/span> projects, ranging from content creation, visuals, website design, and supervision.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div>\n

Liza <\/span>Kahwaji<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h4>\n

Liza is an undergraduate student in Cognitive Science that is passionate about making research accessible. She first joined the Socials Team to bring a <\/span><\/span>Disability Studies lens (her minor) about the barriers surrounding accessing research. Her goal in each project is to tie her passion for Cognitive Science and Disability Studies together. She works on creating content, visuals, and posting each week. Her goal is to share the amazing knowledge produced from the lab to a wide audience.<\/span><\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div>\n

Leah Marshall<\/h4>\n

Leah is an honours cognitive science undergraduate student with a passion for research. She is a major advocate for knowledge mobilization and loves sharing facts and discussing interesting research with anyone who will listen. She joined the Math Lab socials team to pursue her passion for sharing knowledge and inspiring learning. Leah works on content and visuals that she posts to the Math Lab Instagram and LinkedIn accounts.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n
