Students acquire the knowledge and skills that will help them achieve academic success and promote their interest in pursuing post-secondary studies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Mini-Courses Program (MCP) is a school board initiative offered annually by Carleton University and the University of Ottawa. The goals of the MCP program are to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Foster the intellectual, social and personal growth of students through the discovery or exploration of a discipline or field of study;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Encourage students to pursue post-secondary education; and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Introduce students to the academic programs and resources offered by the region\u2019s post-secondary institutions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Student registration for MCP 2026 will be open from Monday, January 19, 2026 until Thursday, February 20, 2026.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All student registration is done through your school or school board.
