The algorithm will comprise a real-time \u201cdigital twin\u201d of the cable system which will receive sensor data, simulate the corresponding cable behavior, and output critical information such as the cable tension or contact forces. The simulated output can then be used to alter the control signal to the winch to increase the cable tension and avoid potentially dangerous events.
