And how will their stories be told?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On April 27th, join <a href=\"http:\/\/akfc.ca\/en\/\">Aga Khan Foundation Canada<\/a> (AKFC) and the <a href=\"http:\/\/caj.ca\/index.php?bypassCookie=1\">Canadian Association of Journalists<\/a> (CAJ) as Shannon Gormley explains why it&#8217;s so important for Canadian journalists to report from the places refugees and migrants are leaving.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An Ottawa Citizen global affairs columnist and freelance journalist, Shannon Gormley was a 2015 recipient of the <a href=\"http:\/\/akfc.ca\/en\/get-involved\/reporting-fellowship\">Fellowship for International Development Reporting<\/a>.
