The Migration and Diaspora Student Society (MDSS) is a network of undergraduate and graduate students at Carleton University interested in migration and diaspora studies. The goal of MDSS is to bring together students from different disciplines and degree-levels to voice and exchange ideas with like minded students and faculty members who are advancing knowledge in relevant areas of research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The society hosts an annual student research conference for students to present their migration-related research and receive feedback, as well as smaller social events throughout the year. It also promotes the many migration-related events run by the Migration and Diaspora Studies initiative and other initiatives on campus and throughout Ottawa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
