In August of 1942, David and his father were ordered by the Gestapo to report to the Antwerp railway station. Unfortunately, this was the last time David saw his mother and two sisters.\u00a0David was deported to a work camp at Dannes-Camiers near Dieppe in France and was later put on a train and sent to Auschwitz.\u00a0 David, who was held in captivity in concentration camps between 1942 to 1945 (age 17 to 20) has spoken extensively about the &#8220;hell on earth&#8221; he experienced. David notes that he feels it his obligation to speak about his experiences in order to educate individuals and \u00a0speak out against Holocaust deniers.
