Ahmad M
Peer Mentor
Program & Year:
Third year Neuroscience and Mental Health
Why I’m a mentor:
Among the reasons I have chosen to be a mentor is giving back to our Carleton community! I want to be a supportive peer to my mentees who listens to their voice and eases them towards a successful transition to university life by employing my compassion, experience and resourcefulness to the best of my ability. I look forward to improving my interpersonal skills by interacting with my mentees and leaders.
Something I wished I knew in my first year…
In spite of the likelihood of making mistakes when learning anything new, I still wish I had known how important it was to manage my time and priorities, especially as a new Raven. I also learned the value of being proactive when problem solving and how great our campus is and what it has to offer!
