Why did you want to become a mentor?
Because I know how hard the transition into university can be hard on anyone, regardless of their background, everyone faces new obstacles and challenges. Previously having been a mentee in the program, answered a lot of the questions I had about transferring into Carleton; whether it was about balancing work, getting involved, or even just social advice. My mentor made my transition easier for me to adjust, and now I hope to do the same for another person.
What is one thing you wished you knew in your first year?
That help is always around the corner at Carleton, you just have to take the first step and reach out.

I love travelling to new countries, and try to make sure I visit a new one at least one every year!!
