Why I’m a mentor:
I had the amazing opportunity of being a mentee during my first year of university. Moving to a different city and not knowing anyone or having any connection was very lonely and stressful. Having a mentor that checks up on you and having someone there to show you around was incredible helpful. I would love to pay it forward and be there for someone like my mentor was for me.
Something I wished I knew in my first year…
I wished I knew about all the resources that are offered on campus. I also wished I knew how to get more involved through the different clubs and societies available.
