Bachelor of Architectural Studies, Design stream going into my 6th year in the program, but 4th year standing.
Why did you want to become a mentor?
I wanted to share my experience as a university student to new incoming students. I feel like I missed out on so many opportunities outside of my program and my priorities were in the wrong place at the time. I want to help guide a student in their experience at Carleton University and give to them what I had to learn on my own as I grew and took on new experiences.
What is one thing you wished you knew in your first year?
I wish I would have known the importance of time management. In my first years I made a lot of mistakes and my priorities were not at the right place, so I was not taking care of myself and ultimately affected my lifestyle, grades and confidence.

I love learning new languages! I currently speak 3 fluently and I’m working on learning Arabic and German.
