Why did you want to become a mentor?
I wanted to become a mentor to give back to the Carleton community and meet new people and hopefully help first-year students in their transition to university life.
What is one thing you wished you knew in your first year?
One thing I wished I knew in my first year is that nobody in their first year really knows what’s going on and no one has everything figured out so it’s ok to be confused and feel lost at times as it is a normal thing and a phase everyone goes through. I also didn’t know much about the campus resources that I could’ve used to help me make my transition easier.

A fun fact about me is that I love singing and used to be a part of the choir group in my high school. I can also speak three languages fluently.
