Jamison Boley –\u00a0Project Manager<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n

\"jamieheadshot\"Jamison\u00a0is a student of the combined JD\/MA program run jointly through the University of Ottawa\u2019s Common Law School and the Norman\u00a0Paterson School of International Affairs, where she specializes in International Conflict Analysis and Resolution. Jamison received her BA from Western University in International Relations, where she first participated in Model NATO as a delegate. In 2017, she was the Deputy Project Manager of Carleton\u00a0MNATO<\/span>.<\/p>\n

Interested in the intersection of international law and conflict, Jamison ultimately hopes to apply her skills to facilitate conflict resolution abroad.\u00a0Jamison and the rest of the Secretariat are working hard to host a great conference, and are excited to welcome delegates to Ottawa in February!<\/p>\n

Emmy Vassos –\u00a0Deputy Project Manager\u00a0<\/b>
\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

Emmy is working towards her Masters\"\"\u00a0of Political Management at Carleton University where her primary research interests\u00a0centre around the media\u2019s effect on the Canadian political environment. Although this is her first year at Carleton, Emmy brings a\u00a0breadth of Model United Nations and Model Parliament experience to the table, having participated in both the high school and\u00a0collegiate level.<\/p>\n

As Deputy Project Manger, Emmy is responsible for assisting with the Project Manager\u2019s duties, and acting as\u00a0Chief of Staff to the conference.\u00a0\u00a0She is very excited to welcome all delegates to Carleton and cannot wait for MNATO<\/span> 2018.<\/p>\n

Garrett Milne – Secretary-General<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"profile\"<\/p>\n

Garrett Milne is currently in his second year of graduate studies in the Infrastructure Protection and International Security program at Carleton University. This is Garrett\u2019s second time being involved with Carleton\u2019s Model NATO conference, as he takes on the duties of Secretary General once again.Garrett\u2019s previous experience stems from Model United Nations conferences attended while completing his Bachelor of Arts in History at Queen\u2019s University. He was a member of the MUN team, traveling to conferences at Yale and Harvard University.<\/p>\n

Garrett also chaired a committee at Queen\u2019s Model United Nations Invitational and was involved in Queen\u2019s Interactive Crisis Simulation, an internal Model UN style conference, as a crisis director.\u00a0Upon completion of Carleton\u2019s MIPIS program, Garrett will be attending the University of Sydney to complete a Master of Health Security, specializing in Human and Animal Biosecurity.\u00a0Garrett is looking forward to being a part of Carleton\u2019s MNATO conference once again and is eager to deliver yet another successful MNATO simulation that is enjoyed by delegates and staff alike.<\/p>\n

Jared Phillips – Crisis Director<\/strong><\/p>\n

Jared graduated in 2017 with a BA in political science and geomatics\"\"from Carleton University, with four years’ experience delegating and\u00a0chairing at model UN conferences in Canada and the United States.<\/p>\n

His\u00a0interest in NATO began at an early age, being lucky enough to attend\u00a0airshows at 4 Wing Cold Lake, and learning more about the Alliance\u00a0each time the Maple Flag exercises came to town. Consequently, MNATO\u00a0<\/span>has always been his favourite conference, and he is excited to put
\nthis year’s delegates to the test as Crisis Director.<\/em><\/p>\n
