The iTeam<\/a> is a volunteer<\/strong> employee-initiative, which works with ITS and MoibleServices, to bring together members of the Carleton community\u00a0<\/strong>who use iPhones & iPads on campus.   3. <\/a><\/a>Name<\/a><\/a> your device, secure<\/strong> with a\u00a0passcode<\/a><\/a>, set up Find My IPhone<\/a><\/a>\u2026<\/li>\n
  4. Configure\u00a0Carleton<\/strong>‘s WiFi<\/a>, VPN<\/a>\u00a0(more<\/a>), email:\u00a0staff\/faculty<\/a>, students<\/a>,\u00a0W-drives<\/a>\u00a0(more<\/a>)<\/li>\n
  5. <\/a>Read<\/strong><\/a> books<\/a>\u00a0on your iPad\/iPhone (or iPad\/iPhone manuals<\/a>)<\/li>\n
  6. <\/a>Type notes\u00a0in iOS Notes app<\/a> (Use\u00a0iCloud sync to\u00a0access<\/a> from any PC\/Mac)<\/li>\n
  7. Read and Edit\u00a0MicroSoft Office<\/strong>\u00a0file<\/a><\/li>\n
  8. Handwrite<\/a><\/strong> Notes<\/a><\/li>\n
  9. <\/a>Print<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0from your iPad\/iPhone<\/li>\n
  10. <\/a>Backup\u00a0using iCloud<\/a><\/li>\n

  12. <\/a>Connect<\/strong> a projector<\/a> to\u00a0your iPad\/iPhone<\/li>\n
  13. <\/a>Share your\u00a0PC\/Mac screen<\/strong>\u00a0to\u00a0your iPad<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>(RDP\/VNC client for iPad)<\/li>\n

Both these suggested apps require a\u00a0stylus<\/a>\u00a0and a learning-curve commitment. Neither does\u00a0OCR<\/a>, but they will let you email, transfer to the cloud service of your choice, or share your handwritten notes and sketches as PDFs.<\/p>\n
