Your plan will transition to the new pricing if:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Your current line is no longer under the two-year voice and data contract or,<\/li>\n<li>Your current line is a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) line.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you are unsure of the status of your line, <a href=\"https:\/\/itsjira.carleton.ca\/servicedesk\/customer\/portal\/5\/create\/645\">please fill out this form<\/a> and we&#8217;ll provide you with this information.<\/p>\n<p>Here are the changes you can expect based on your current plan.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Voice and data flex line<\/strong><\/span> (includes unlimited Canadian long distance &amp; Canada Wide unlimited Text\/Pic\/Video Messages)<br \/>\nYou will be transitioned to the following plan pricing:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>$2.50 \u2013 Voice<\/li>\n<li>$3.00 \u2013 300MB<\/li>\n<li>$4.00 \u2013 1GB<\/li>\n<li>$4.00 \u2013 3GB<\/li>\n<li>$8.00 \u2013 6GB<\/li>\n<li>$9.00 \u2013 Unlimited<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Each month, the cost will adjust based on your data usage, plus a base $2.50 cost for voice calling. For example, if you use 3GB of data, your charge for that month would be $6.50. If you exceed 6GB, the charge will be <strong>$11.50<\/strong> for <strong>unlimited data and unlimited Canadian long distance<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Data flex line<\/strong><br \/>\n<\/span>You will be transitioned to the following plan pricing:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>$3.00 \u2013 300MB<\/li>\n<li>$4.00 \u2013 1GB<\/li>\n<li>$4.00 \u2013 3GB<\/li>\n<li>$8.00 \u2013 6GB<\/li>\n<li>$9.00 \u2013 Unlimited<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Each month, the cost will adjust based on your data usage. Will that be removed when we transition over to the new plan<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A: Since the new plan now includes unlimited long distance, this add-on will be removed<\/p>\n<p><strong>Q: Are there changes to the long distance rates and roaming options?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A: Yes, we have much lower <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/mobileservices\/long-distance\/\">long distance rates<\/a> and better <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/mobileservices\/roaming\/\">roaming options<\/a> on the new plan<\/p>\n<p><strong>Q: Are the above plans the only options?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A: No, there are now four plans to choose from. If you\u2019re upgrading, the price will be slightly higher. Additionally, we have plans that allow you to use your voice and data in the US.
