Congratulations go out to Megan MacLeod, one of our MPNL students who was awarded the AFP Golden Horseshoe Award for Outstanding Youth in Philanthropy. Megan says “As an MPNL student, my front line philanthropic work is now much more beneficial to the community I serve as I am able to put my knowledge from the program into practice to maximize my efforts and impact on the community.  The MPNL program was a natural progression for me – from helping hands-on within my community to realizing I wanted a career in the Non Profit sector. I am so excited to see where it takes me!” Megan will be honoured at the 2014 National Philanthropy Day held at the Burlington Convention Centre on November 14th.
