    Barbara Szijarto is a specialist in program evaluation, and her research focuses on how evaluation can support collective learning, social innovation and systems change. She’s a senior evaluator with the federal government, where she leads evaluation studies for the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) and Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC). Teaching in the MPNL and DPNL programs is especially rewarding for her because of its high-calibre, savvy students, who never fail to challenge her thinking and reinforce her love for all things evaluation.
