- Do I need to relocate to Ottawa to complete the MPNL and DPNL?

*Please note for Summer 2021: Given the ongoing uncertainties associated with the pandemic, and the need of students and faculty to plan and prepare well in advance, we have decided and are announcing that all courses for the Master and Graduate Diploma in Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership will be delivered online for the 2021 Summer term. PANL 5001 and 5004 will be scheduled for the early session May-June. PANL 5002 and 5005 will be scheduled for the late session July-August. - What are the application timelines? When can I apply?

The application site for Summer 2021 intake is now open. The application deadline for the MPNL program is January 15, 2021 for Summer 2021 intake. Any applications received after the January 15th deadline will only be considered if funding and space remains available in the program. April 1st is the last date applications can be submitted.
- What are the required documents for a completed application?

- How much will the program cost?

- What does a full time schedule in the MPNL look like?

The MPNL, taken full time, runs over five terms and begins in the summer term. Please see a sample schedule here.
- Is there a difference in cost between the MPNL and DPNL?

- Am I eligible for funding as a part time student?

No. Only full time students are eligible for funding.
- How do I apply for funding?

Full time domestic applications for the MPNL received on or before the application deadline will be automatically considered for funding. Those who are awarded funding will be informed in their official offer of admission.

- How many reference letters are required for my application?

Both the MPNL/DPNL programs require two (2) letters for reference. These letters can be either academic and/or professional.
- How long will it take for me to complete the program?

The MPNL program, taken full time, is completed in five academic terms beginning with the summer term. Part time students in the MPNL have ten terms to complete the program.
- If I am in the DPNL program, can I switch to the MPNL?

If you are in the DPNL, or have graduated from the DPNL and wish to take the MPNL, you must apply to the MPNL program. Your application will be reviewed and processed the same way all MPNL applications are handled. Some advanced standing may be granted, but is not guaranteed.
