The Only Program of Its Kind in Canada<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Since 2013, the MPNL-DPNL program has trained graduate students in the philanthropic sector. Our “<\/a>Alumni Networks\u201d page<\/a> includes interviews and stories from past students and sector leaders. Resources<\/a> are available for current MPNL and DPNL students, as are Forms and Policies<\/a>. Reach out to the Graduate Administrator<\/a> if you have questions. In addition, Carleton graduate students have access to professional development resources. These include skills workshops, writing and one-on-one career consultations, career-oriented events, and  structured programs. \n 2025 Students\n <\/h2>\n \n \n <\/header>\n\n \n\n

Our thirteenth cohort of students began studies at the two-week Summer Institute<\/a>, at Carleton University, in the summer of 2025, in both the MPNL and DPNL programs<\/a>. The Master of Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership (MPNL) program includes both experienced and aspiring professionals. The Graduate Diploma in Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership (DPNL) is intended to enable working professionals to upgrade their knowledge and skills.
