DPNL students are required to participate in the first Summer Institute. The Summer Institutes are delivered Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., over a two-week duration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The next Summer Institute will be held <strong>June 8-19, 202<\/strong><strong class=\"myprefix-text-bold\">6<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"between-the-summer-institutes\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Between the Summer Institutes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The rest of the program is completed through a mix of interactive synchronous and asynchronous online courses. In-person electives are possible for those who prefer that format. However, in-person attendance is not required outside of the Summer Institutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"location\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Location<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Summer Institute is located at <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Carleton University<\/a>, situated on unceded Algonquin territory. Carleton is a green campus that\u2019s bounded by the Rideau River and <a href=\"https:\/\/whc.unesco.org\/en\/list\/1221\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Rideau Canal (a UNESCO World Heritage Site)<\/a>.
