Paige (she\/her) has worked for 10 years in the nonprofit sector, and is passionate about how we do community work. In 2018, she graduated with her degree in International Development from Dalhousie University. Throughout her degree, she volunteered at the Red Cross, the United Way, and spent time supporting youth engagement in politics. After graduation, Paige worked for three years at the Dallaire Institute for Children, Peace and Security, supporting training programs and advocacy work, greatly appreciating opportunities to work with remarkable child advocates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Paige has lived with post-concussion syndrome since 2013 and wants to use her experiences to help others, especially students like herself who once thought pursuing a master’s degree would not be possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Paige is a settler in Mi\u2019kmaw\u2019ki, the traditional land of the Mi\u2019kmaq peoples, also known as Nova Scotia. She lives in Dartmouth and works at Small Economy Works<\/a>,<\/em><\/span> where she loves learning from her amazing colleagues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Outside of work, Paige is a basketball referee and strives to increase women’s representation in sports. She enjoys visiting her family in her hometown of Oxford.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
