10th Anniversary Event for the MPNL program<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

On May 18, 2023, the MPNL program celebrated its 10th anniversary during a reception at CSI Annex, in Toronto. The event demonstrated how alumni, collaborators and friends of the MPNL are involved in impactful philanthropy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gerri Nakirigya Lutaaya (2014 alum) spoke about how you have to be giving of your time and talent for philanthropy to be true, and called for greater diversity in the sector.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

After an introduction by Susan Phillips, Graduate Supervisor of the program, a number of alumni spoke.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gonzalo Duarte (2015 alum) commented on how the program enabled him to get his dream job at the Centre for Social Innovation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lee Burton (2021 alum) shared that one of her biggest memories was initially being intimated by her classmates-colleagues only to realize that much of the class felt the same way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Michael Paskewitz (2021 alum) said he learned about the management of large non-profits, thanks to the MPNL program, and got promoted to Chief of Staff at Nature Conservancy after graduating.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
