Paige Kezima (she\/her) has a history of bringing people together, exemplified through her work with the labour movement (in a member-engagement election campaign with the Saskatchewan Federation of Labour) and through her work with nonprofit organizations (in volunteer management with Equal Voice and coordinating a professional leadership network for urban Indigenous women at the National Association of Friendship Centres).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An avid volunteer since childhood, she’s dedicated years of time to mental health advocacy as a speaker and writer and in a student movement and nationally recognized campaign for two international students facing deportation — and she’s worked on numerous boards and executives in political groups and grassroots coalitions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She graduated from the University of Regina with a Bachelor of Social Work and a Public Relations Certificate in 2013.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Currently, Paige is the Strategy & Operations Lead at the Ottawa\/Gatineau organization, Youth Action Now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Paige is dedicated to learning and unlearning in practices related to Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging (EDIB) in workplaces, academics, community building and in everyday life. She isn’t afraid to ask tough questions; this is one of the reasons she was drawn to the MPNL program. It’s here where she hopes to instigate, participate, observe and learn from spirited discussions about the past, present, and future of the sector.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
