He holds a Ph.D. degree from the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.faculty.ece.vt.edu\/schaum\/\/research\/#students\">Secure Embedded Systems Lab<\/a>\u00a0in the Computer Engineering Department of\u00a0\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.vt.edu\/\">Virginia Tech<\/a>\u00a0(VT). He worked as a Post-Doctoral Fellow in the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/ecewp.ece.wpi.edu\/wordpress\/vernam\/\">Vernam Crypto Group<\/a>\u00a0of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.wpi.edu\/\">Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI)<\/a>\u00a0as well as the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.eng.uwo.ca\/electrical\/\">Electrical and Computer Engineering Department<\/a>\u00a0of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.uwo.ca\/\">Western University<\/a>. He also worked as an Assistant Professor in the Computer Engineering Department of Assiut University. His research focuses on the design of Security-Aware Architectures for Critical Embedded Systems. He serves as a program committee member of several conferences in this field including DATE, WESS, and SPACE.
