Currently, he is a postdoctoral fellow at the Human Performance Lab (HPL) in the Faculty of Kinesiology at the University of Calgary. Recently, he was honored to receive the prestigious Alberta Innovates Award for Digital & Data-Enabled (D&DE) Health Research. He has a PhD in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Biomechanics. He completed part of his PhD at the University of Amsterdam, Netherlands, before moving to Canada and joining the University of Guelph for the final part of his PhD research. After graduating, he held RA and PDF positions at the University of Guelph. He then joined the University of Windsor as a PDF, where he had the opportunity to serve as a sessional instructor for multiple semesters in the Department of Mechanical, Automotive, and Materials Engineering.<br \/>\r\nHis research interests include data analysis, machine learning, deep learning, optimization, motion capture, advanced analytical or numerical investigations, and Finite Element analysis in biomechanics.
