Join our Chamber Music Ensemble Concert for their end of term performance!

Dear Chamber Music Lovers!

On Friday November 30th Carleton University’s Chamber Music Ensemble presents a
wintertime concert of chamber music showcasing a wide variety of composers, styles and formations. The concert begins at 7:30pm and takes place in PATRICK CARDY STUDIO, 9th Floor, Loeb Building (Tower A), Carleton University. Admission is $10/$5 at the door, and free to Carleton University students and faculty.

This concert features musicians from Music and other CU departments, with players from here and abroad.

You’ll be treated to music by well-known and rarely heard baroque masters Bach and Purcell, Boismortier, Eccles and Heinichen, and a cross section of French composers including Ibert, Deslandres and Sauzay.  We are very excited to present works by two women composers, the early 20th century Frenchwoman Cecile Chaminade  as well as the hugely gifted Ottawa-based composer/cellist/pianist Anita Pari. Our musicians will perform as duos, trios and quintet, featuring strings, winds, guitar, keyboards and vocals!

Come enjoy Ottawa’s hottest, most award-winningest young musicians as they regale you with music filled with joy and passion!
