Featured as one of Ottawa’s best musicians in Ottawa Life Magazine’s “Best of Ottawa”, Renée Landry is a powerhouse of Northern Ontario soul. A classically trained musician, Renée received an Honours Bachelor of Music in Jazz/Soul Vocal Performance from Carleton University. She has worked as a professional musician for over a decade, and has been a vocal coach for the past 10 years, currently teaching out of her private home studio LAB Studios. Renée has performed at numerous venues & events over her career including Loplops Lounge, Live! On Elgin, NAC Fourth Stage, Irene’s Pub, Ottawa Jazz Festival, Ottawa Chef’s Table and RBC’s Ottawa Bluesfest, just to name a few. She is currently best known for her renowned live show “Back To Black: A Tribute To Amy Winehouse”, performed alongside her musical partner Richard Page.

With 4 EP’s under her belt (Memoirs Of A Broken Heart, Chin Up, Like A Boss & A Christmas Night), Renée’s music often graces the Canadian airwaves on CBC Music, and has been streamed all over the world from the UK to Japan. A passionate and knowledgeable teacher, Renée offers evidence based, science driven training and teaching methods, with a side of vocal health education for singers of all levels and backgrounds. She believes in student-led learning, and empowers her students to feel free and confident in their voices, while providing them with the tools to be independent in their practice.
