Mission Statement<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Carleton Music Students\u2019 Society (CMSS) organizes and hosts social events open to the BMus, BA Music, and MA in Music programs. The events are usually free, planned by council members and overseen by the CMSS Co-Presidents, and create a friendly, inclusive environment for students to get to know each other better. These events are designed to help students socialize outside of a musical and work context, and create long-lasting professional and social relationships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The CMSS is committed to being a voice for the students. Focussing on student well-being, council members are available to discuss questions, concerns, ideas, and act as a liaison between students and professors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The CMSS is also keen on marketing and promoting Carleton Music students’ performances and musical creations, so please inform the council of your upcoming works. CMSS is here for you, the students. If council interests you, and you want to give back to your fellow students in following years, apply to be on council!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
