Where do I begin?

Post-undergraduate consideration ideally begins before the end of second year, and in some cases (such as those pursuing medical school) it needs to be considered even earlier. This is so you are informed and any admission requirements (course or otherwise) that must be folded into your undergraduate degree.

The Undergraduate Administrator can assist with helping you determine how your post-undergraduate objectives fit into the various pathways to program completion.

Carleton’s Career Services offers the most comprehensive career advising on campus. You can utilize the resources on their website and contact them to book a one-on-one session.

Our Where Are They Now? and Careers in Neuroscience pages are a great opportunity to see where some of our undergraduate alumni went after graduation.

The Science Student Success Centre runs events and programs pertaining to career planning and networking.

Moving outside the Faculty of Science, visit Carleton’s Employability page to help define your career goals and explore your future employment.
