I then went on to complete a Master of Social Work at Wilfrid Laurier University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I initially took a neuroscience course to fulfill a breadth requirement. I was interested, but very nervous because I didn\u2019t excel in sciences in high school. The professors were amazing at making sure I understood the foundations of neuroscience so I could explore more complex topics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 id=\"advice-for-current-students\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Advice for Current Students<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Keep an open mind. Explore different topics and push yourself outside of your comfort zone.
