His work has examined how environmental toxins and other stressors influence brain systems across the life course, with particular attention to neurotoxicity and mental health. In applied settings at Health Canada, he has integrated toxicology and mechanistic evidence to evaluate human-health risks and translate complex findings into accessible, decision-relevant insights. He has developed introductory learning resources on New Approach Methodologies (NAMs) for chemical risk assessment and has served on working groups, including a Neurotoxicity/Developmental Neurotoxicity Working Group, applying his expertise to help determine complex neurotoxic endpoints and support shared evaluation practices. He also teaches as a contract Instructor at Carleton University, emphasizing accessible, evidence-based learning in neuroscience. He is committed to clear scientific communication and to advancing public understanding of how mental and brain health are shaped by biology, environment, and exposure.

[32

post-9271","cu_people","type-cu_people","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","cu_people_type-adjunct
["GET
