the support of faculty and staff at Carleton University and the University of Ottawa, the Society for Neuroscience (SfN) Ottawa Chapter is run by a group of graduate and undergraduate student volunteers passionate about educational outreach events, community fundraisers, and academic and community knowledge transfer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">In recognition of their impressive achievements, they received the <a href=\"https:\/\/newsroom.carleton.ca\/story\/neuroscience-chapter-wins-international-award\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">2018 SfN Chapter of the Year<\/a> and the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/can-acn.org\/the-ottawa-sfn-chapter-wins-a-2019-can-neuroscience-outreach-advocacy-award\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer
