The focus of this course is the impact of the prenatal environment and, in some instances, preconception environment of the parents on vulnerability to metabolic and psychiatric disorders in the adult offspring. Particular emphasis will be placed on the pathways and mechanisms through which these effects are conveyed from parent to offspring and how the sex of the offspring may modulate them.

Application Instructions

Graduate Calendar

Explore Potential Careers Here

Questions? Email the Graduate Administrator.

The Department of Neuroscience offers both an M.Sc. and a Ph.D. program.
