The project explores how factors like discrimination and other environmental stressors may shape video game and social media use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They are looking to connect with diverse youth aged 16\u201319, especially those from ethnically and gender\u2011diverse communities. These voices\u2014particularly racialized youth\u2014are often underrepresented in research, and their perspectives are essential for building a more accurate and inclusive understanding of digital life. A specialist will observe the child\u2019s behaviour, gauging their cognitive abilities and how they communicate, and often must consult with other health care professionals to determine what kind of developmental support is needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This approach to diagnosis, which is used for many neurodevelopmental conditions, is labour intensive, time consuming and costly. Refer to modules &#8220;1st &amp; 2nd Years&#8221; and &#8220;3rd &amp; 4th Years&#8221; respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Course offerings will be available in Carleton Central on <strong class=\"myprefix-text-bold\">May 25<\/strong> and you can begin building worksheets. Change of Program Elements is unavailable from <strong class=\"myprefix-text-bold\">July 2 at 8am until July 16 at 8:30am<\/strong>, so make sure you&#8217;re in your desired program by the end of June! Registration will open to new first year students on <strong class=\"myprefix-text-bold\">July 6<\/strong> and returning students on <strong class=\"myprefix-text-bold\">July 10<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some departments put restrictions on their courses for the first couple weeks of registration or indefinitely. <strong class=\"myprefix-text-bold\">Be sure to read the comments by clicking into the course on Carleton Central<\/strong>, visiting the offering department&#8217;s website to see if they explain their process there, or contact them directly for more information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When in doubt, <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/registration\/override-requests\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">submit an override request<\/a> and see what happens!
