booming in the workforce \u2013 and at Carleton University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cNeuroscience is an area of growing public interest,\u201d says John Stead, chair of Carleton\u2019s Department of Neuroscience. \u201cAnd we\u2019re a new department, so we have an energy to us.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">\u201cWe are the first university in the country to have a department in neuroscience that offers its own undergraduate programs,\u201d says Stead. \u201cThere are a huge number of new courses and, by this Christmas, we will have taught 12 brand new courses in two and a
