They checked out the accompanying images of the pieces and found those helpful too,\u201d said Jeffries in a message to Wright. \u201cSo, thanks again for doing it. The amazing staff of the <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/edc\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Education Development Centre<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/mpc\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Media Production Centre<\/a> have been instrumental in guiding us. href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/culearnsupport\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">cuLearn<\/a>\u2014Carleton\u2019s online management system for students and instructors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Learning new software and how to write engaging tour scripts has been a positive and educational experience for Wright. \u201cWe\u2019re so used to being in front of the artists\u2019 works with the students and being able to respond to their questions and insights,\u201d says Wright. \u201cSo we\u2019ve found different ways to create conversations and connections.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"not-prose cu-quote cu-component-spacing\">\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cI think these digital modules are a great way to introduce larger classes of students to how artists see the world, and can greatly inform, enrich and shape their studies.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>Printup is also enjoying this new collaborative learning experience. \u201cI really like how the CUAG staff is coming together as a work team and using our different skill sets to help each other create these digital modules,\u201d says Printup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full wp-image-67563\"><img class=\"wp-block-heading\">First Complete Digital Module<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The exhibitions that are in the process of being presented in the gallery\u2019s first-ever digital modules are the current exhibitions, <em>Shannon Finnegan: Lone Proponent of Wall-to-Wall Carpet<\/em> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cuag.ca\/index.php\/exhibitions\/489\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>They Forgot That We Were Seeds<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Printup is developing a module for a 2019 exhibition that CUAG co-produced with Thunder Bay Art Gallery titled, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cuag.ca\/index.php\/exhibitions\/448\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>UPRISING: THE POWER OF MOTHER EARTH \u2013 Christi Belcourt \u2013 A Retrospective with Isaac Murdoch<\/em><\/a><em>,<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wright has now completed the digital module for the Brooklyn, N.Y.-based multidisciplinary artist Shannon Finnegan\u2019s exhibition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Lone Proponent of Wall-to-Wall Carpet<\/em> features Finnegan\u2019s custom furniture, text-based works and drawings. The furniture was created on Carleton\u2019s campus at the <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/id\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">School of Industrial Design<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/architecture\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Azrieli School of Architecture &amp; Urbanism<\/a> using the talent of Walter Zanetti, Anthony Dewar, Paul Durocher and Brant Lucuik. \u201cThat was the brilliant idea of CUAG\u2019s curator, Heather Anderson,\u201d says Wright of the collaborative effort, \u201cand the furniture is impressive!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wright explains Finnegan\u2019s exhibition that, \u201cthe artist makes cheeky work about disability culture and access.
