The second issue of Carleton University\u2019s Raven<\/em> magazine is out in the world and online<\/a> now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The stories in this issue revolve around the Carleton community\u2019s response to the COVID-19 pandemic \u2014 from faculty research<\/a> and student work experiences<\/a> to Indigenous economic development<\/a> and mental health insights<\/a> \u2014 and explore anti-racism efforts<\/a> at the university.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe are part of a broader society,\u201d President Benoit-Antoine Bacon writes in his introductory message, \u201cand the burden of change is on all of us.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Highlights of this issue include a package of stories about Carleton\u2019s journalism program<\/a> (which celebrated its 75th anniversary this fall), profiles of professors Rick Colbourne<\/a> and Melanie Adrian<\/a>, a peek into the home lives of alumni couple Linda Grussani and Rawlson King<\/a>, and a powerful essay about racism by former Ravens football star Nate Behar<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
