The future home of the Sprott School of Business, the Nicol Building, was designed to have a light environmental footprint from \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/sprott.carleton.ca\/2020\/sustainable-from-core-to-skin-a-closer-look-at-the-nicol-buildings-green-design\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">core to skin<\/a>.\u201d This includes reducing the use of carbon-intensive concrete and designing the heating and ventilation systems to maximize energy efficiency.
