It speaks more to the people that have surrounded me over these past few years than to me as an individual. Completing my doctoral research and winning this award would not have been possible without the support of my colleagues and without the efforts of the Herongate Tenant Coalition. Sixty years later not only have I now fulfilled my lifelong crazy dream of earning a degree in this field, but the award of a President\u2019s Medal reminds me that sometimes our dreams can come true. All it took was a passion for the subject, an HTA program and faculty that provided a superb pathway for my journey and an internal focus and drive to undertake the incredible amount of hard work necessary.
