recalls Baindur, who moved to Ottawa this past winter.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"not-prose cu-quote cu-component-spacing\">\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>&#8220;When I saw Capital Pride was coming up here, I realized I had no one to march with.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>Rather than waiting to see if someone organized something, Baindur thought &#8220;if not me, then who?&#8221; and pitched the idea to the dean&#8217;s office at Sprott, who connected her with the <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/seo\/\">Student Experience Office (SEO)<\/a>.
