Miranda J. Brady<\/strong>
Professor, School of Journalism and Communication at Carleton University<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Brady is available to discuss issues related to motherhood, motherhood and media, motherhood and labour \/ domestic work, family vloggers, tradmoms and mothers in film. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Brady\u2019s work takes a critical\/cultural approach and explores the construction of identity in the media and other cultural institutions. She has spoken on the rise of \u201cmominfluencers,\u201d entrepreneurial motherhood and issues related to media and motherhood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rebecca Bromwich<\/strong>
Professor, Department of Law and Legal Studies at Carleton University<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bromwich is available to speak on topics related to women under the law, solo parenting and single mothers, and specifically, women as mothers.  She has an anthology on mothers and law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She has also discussed an intersectional approach to the inclusion of women in the workplace and in the private sphere of the home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bromwich is the former program director of the Graduate Diploma in Conflict Resolution. Bromwich has been a columnist for Lawyers Weekly and has authored and co-authored several books for students and legal system practitioners, including a new publication on corporate social responsibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rachel Buxton<\/strong>
Professor, Department of Biology at Carleton University<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Asa a mother and scientist, Buxton is available to discuss the importance of connecting kids with nature for their well-being and to foster nature stewardship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Buxton has also discussed how soothing nature sounds can reduce stress and benefit individual mental health, the relationship between biodiversity (birds\/trees) and human health\/wellbeing, urban conservation of birds, national biodiversity conservation, and how to conserve and care for biodiversity as individuals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Buxton\u2019s main research interests include soundscapes, seabird ecology, ecological restoration, and systematic conservation planning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Oriane Couchoux<\/strong>
Professor, Sprott School of Business at Carleton University<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Couchoux is available to discuss the cultural expectations of motherhood and how they shape women\u2019s relationship with money, including the financial impact of the mental load and being the primary caregiver.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Couchoux’s research explores the experience of the diverse stakeholders involved in audit and governance processes, including auditors, audit committee members, and regulators. Using qualitative methods, she analyzes how these individuals make sense of their role, adapt to the changing environment, and respond to the rules and regulatory requirements that govern their occupation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
