The result recognizes Carleton\u2019s research excellence, faculty achievements and student success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition, Carleton ranked first in Social Sciences and Humanities Grants for the third consecutive year and third in Medical\/Science Grants, highlighting its strength in research funding across disciplines. The university also ranked second in Faculty Awards, reflecting the excellence of Carleton\u2019s faculty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In student-related measures, Carleton ranked second in student Retention Rate, a new indicator introduced this year. The university also ranked fifth in Student Awards and in Scholarships and Bursaries, demonstrating Carleton\u2019s commitment to supporting students throughout their studies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These results showcase Carleton\u2019s strengths, the achievements of its faculty and staff, and its strong standing among Canadian universities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/macleans.ca\/education\/university-rankings\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Read the Maclean\u2019s 2027 University Rankings<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>This year\u2019s rankings use new categories based on institutional size, with Carleton competing in the mid-size category for universities with 10,000 to 30,000 full-time equivalent students.
