He has been in every Government of Canada budget lockup since 2008. He was the CBC\u2019s Parliamentary Bureau Chief in Ottawa from 1993 to 2001. During his time at CBC, he was responsible for all national news specials, federal and provincial elections and election night coverage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He is the editor of and a contributor to <em>How Canadians Communicate IV: Media and Politics<\/em>, with David Taras (Mount Royal University) published in May 2012 by Athabasca University Press.
