Already a trustee of the Board of Directors since last year, he will chair the Management Committee. He will also be a member of the Audit Committee, the Development Project Committee and the Executive Committee. He is also a board member of Sant\u00e9 Montfort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cBeing on the Board of Trustees and recently elected as treasurer of H\u00f4pital Montfort Hospital, Ontario\u2019s Francophone academic hospital, is an honour and a way to contribute back to the community,\u201d said Brouard. \u201cInvolved for a number of years on the Governance Committee, I had the pleasure of working with the senior management team of the hospital. Two values of the Sprott School of Business at Carleton University are connected and caring.&nbsp;Being on the board and on various committees&nbsp;allowed me to link theory and practice and stay connected to our community.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>H\u00f4pital Montfort is Ontario\u2019s Francophone academic hospital, offering exemplary person-centred care. The hospital serves over 1.2 million people in Eastern Ontario, in both official languages. In 2014, it earned accreditation with exemplary standing from Accreditation Canada, and was designated Best Practices Spotlight Organization by the Registered Nurses\u2019 Association of Ontario.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With its main partners, the University of Ottawa and La Cit\u00e9 college, as well as other post-secondary programs, Montfort is preparing the next generation of Francophone healthcare professionals. Since 2015, it has joined the ranks of Canada\u2019s top 40 research hospitals through the activities of the Institut du Savoir Montfort, its knowledge institute.
