Her main field of study is English Renaissance literature and she is particularly interested in women\u2019s writing and Reformation history. Her areas of research include powerful queens such as Katherine Parr and Queen Elizabeth, and women in war during the 16<sup>th<\/sup> century. White\u2019s work examines the education of women and girls, political activism of elite women, the role of mothers in the Renaissance household, as well as male and female relations.
