He has particular interest in practical questions regarding invasive species control and management to protect threatened species. Bennett’s work aims to provide conservation agencies with useful tools allowing them to achieve better results within limited budgets. He also looks at theoretical questions regarding co-existence in fluctuating environments, methods for quantifying biodiversity and determinants of community assembly. His study systems include polar regions, temperate grasslands and lakes, and tropical forests.

Philip Mansfield
Manager of Sustainability Programs, Facilities Management and Planning

Phone: 613-520-2600, ext. 1210
Email: Philip.Mansfield@carleton.ca

Mansfield is available to discuss Carleton University’s efforts to support energy and sustainability operational programs on campus.

Media Contact

Steven Reid
Media Relations Officer
Carleton University
613-520-2600, ext. 8718
613-265-6613
Steven_Reid3@Carleton.ca

Carleton Newsroom: https://newsroom.carleton.ca/
Follow us on Twitter: www.twitter.com/Cunewsroom
Need an expert? Go to: www.carleton.ca/newsroom/experts

As April 22 is Earth Day, Carleton experts are available to comment.
