The conference is supported by Carleton\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/fpa\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Faculty of Public Affairs<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bringing together 750 students and teachers, the conference will feature workshops on important topics, including Indigenous truths; Indigenous activism and cultural resilience; and building \u200btrust between Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>When: <\/strong>April 23 and 24, 2019 from 9 a.m. to 2:40 p.m.<strong><br>\nWhere<\/strong>: Various room locations, Richcraft Hall, Carleton University<br>\n<strong>Info<\/strong>: The event program and room information is <a href=\"https:\/\/sites.google.com\/view\/ndrama23\/2019\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">available online.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Media are invited to attend the event.<br>\n<\/strong><br>\nThe conference will provide an opportunity to acknowledge Canada\u2019s challenging history of cultural genocide and move beyond into new understandings.
